‘average person’ understand medical conditions
Book signing party set for Dec. 8
HACKETTSTOWN (Nov. 17, 2010) – Patients of Dr. James Fedich often ask him about a variety of ailments and other medical questions; they tell him that they have heard the terminology but don’t always understand fully their meaning.
“So I decided to write a book to help explain medical conditions in terms that the average person could understand,” said Dr. Fedich of Village Family Chiropractic in Allamuchy Township.
The native of Long Valley, now a resident of Andover, recently had his first book published, “What Your Doctor Never Told You About … (Aches, Strains, and Back Pains).”
In celebration of his new book, a book signing party has been scheduled for Wednesday night Dec. 8 at Arts off Main, 128 Willow Grove Street, Hackettstown, from 7-9 p.m. Light refreshments will be available and the night also includes live music with Jessica Koppinger. While Dr. Fedich is expecting a host of patients, family and friends, the book signing party is open to the public as well. The book is also available through amazon.com.
Not only does Dr. Fedich discuss ailments such as Carpal tunnel syndrome, Fibromyalgia and disc bulges in plain terminology, but he also explains various treatments and other related topics.
The book gives an overview of common health conditions, their causes and symptoms. Dr. Fedich also offers some simple non drug treatment methods that are available “that your doctor may not have told you about.”
Dr. Fedich, who has staff privileges at Emmaus Surgical Center, specializes in chronic and difficult to treat cases, using spinal decompression, chiropractic, nutrition, and MUA (manipulation under anesthesia).
A member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors’ state board of directors, he is one of 12 voting members for over 1700 doctors in one of the largest and most powerful chiropractic groups in the country. Dr. Fedich is also a member of the ANJC insurance committee and a member of the Warren County Community College Foundation Board.
A graduate of New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, N.Y., Dr. Fedich has been serving the area for over six years at his Route 517 office. Dr. Fedich, who frequently speaks to organizations and businesses about better health and ergonomics, as well as other topics, believes that prevention of problems is the key to obtaining optimal health and wellness.
